Moving day is complete

Today, Ann and I turned over our keys to the crazy landlord lady, thus completing out moving out experience.

After a few hours of wrestling with the computer yesterday, Ann and I discovered that I don't know how to hook up a wireless access point to a cable modem from the cable company. It was an experience trying to get it to work, and after an hour or two, we gave up and went back to the cable company to get a wireless router. About two minutes after plugging it it, the wireless worked. So I decided to ramp up security and after about 20 minutes of messing with that, the wireless setup is complete.

So here I am, posting on the wireless internet.

I only one day left until its my time to go. However, we ran into a bit of a snag yesterday that could've pummeled our plans. See, Ann wants to go this weekend and stay in Durant with me in a hotel room. Great, sounds like fun. We had the money and the cause, but apparently you have to be 21 to rent a hotel room. I'm only 20. So I tried to get a hold of SFC McDougal to see if he could get the room for us and I would just pay the cost, but he didn't answer his cell phone. So then I asked my sister to drive down to Durant with us to get a hotel room and then she would drive back, but her driver's license is a little expired and she can't get a new one because of a $120 ticket. Thanks, Tiff.

However, Mac called me back and he agreed to help us out. So now our plans are to go to McAlester tonight and then to Durant in the morning and then stay there the rest of the time. How fun.

So in a few minutes Ann and I have to go to the laundr-o-mat and wash my BDUs. Then we have to pack up for the weekend and go to Muskogee to say bye to everyone. I know, this is so exciting.

Well, I guess that's all my posting for now. I'll see what I can come up with later.

God is good. All the time.
Peace
