This "vacation" totally rocks

I am enjoying this life of luxury already. Last night I didn't have to worry about waking up and driving to work. When I woke up this morning I didn't have to worry about sitting at work all day trying to find something to do. While I was watching Black Hawk Down I didn't have to worry about Ken walking around my cubicle and catch me goofing off. It felt very nice. I don't know how I'm going to handle three weeks of freedom!

I don't know about you, but I think that last night's Super Bowl game, completely sucked. It was very anti-climatic and seemed almost to be a runaway game. Granted, the Seahawks did make some great plays and showed signs of making it into a great game, they fell short of that goal, along with many others. I'm sorry, but it just wasn't all that exciting.

And the thing that most people watch the game for in the first place, the commercials, weren't all that great either. Once again, there were some funny ones that scored big, but most just didn't have anything going for them. The Burger King commercial with the dancing hamburger toppings just didn't do it for me. However, the Monster.com commericals did have quite a good impact, seeing that I could partially relate to it. One of the best commercials was the Budweiser one where the lamb went "streaking" through the football game. That was a perfect use of the previous hit commercial and it was great.

Oh, but who cares what I think about the commercials. Honestly, they could've done better.

The classic moment of the night, though, came when one of the quarterbacks got sacked. Dad and I were like, "Ooo, that's gonna suck." Tiff turned to us and says, "Yeah it will. That sack penalty is really gonna hurt em'."

Umm...Tiff, dear. There is no sack penalty.

I don't know how many of you watch Survivor, but I have become partially addicted to it (mainly to get inside the bond my family has over the show) and it's quite a hoot to watch. This last episode (the first one this season) was definately a stunner to everyone with the old women tribe voted off the strongest person on their team. Granted, she did seem to steal the show and even catch a fish with "her bare hands" and put it in her purse, but the team shouldn't have voted her off. Now they are the underdog in all the challenges because A) they don't have their strongest member and B) they have one less member. With all the changes going around lately with the show, I doubt the producer is going to keep the challenges the same either. I can't imagine them letting one person sit out from each team to make the teams balanced. I think that they are going to have different challenges and the smaller teams are going to suffer making it easier for the stonger teams to get them out.

But what do I know? I'm just rambling anyway.

And as usual the game was won by the refs. It was proven to the TV audience 'NO holding penaly' when SeaHawks got to the 3 yard line. But refs said holding then interception, etc. which made a 14 point difference. Why watch something when you will never really know who wins or loses. It's all CRAP.
