Welcome to Krygistan

I have arrived safely in Krygistan. It was kinda questionable at times as to how safely we were going to arrive, but to no avail, I am here. Its almost 0900 here, which means there (at Oklahoma at least) it is 10:00 PM. Somehow in there, I missed 11 hours. I want them back.

Bangor, Maine wasn't bad. We spent about an hour there, I got a quick something to eat and then we were back on the plane for a four hour trip to Ireland. Yes, Ireland. We made it to Shannon, Ireland at about 1300 their time, roughly 0900 Oklahoma time. Spent an hour or so there and then off again for a seven hour flight to Krygistan.

I don't know how much of this is OPSEC; I don't believe any is since it has already occured, but what do I know.

Anyway, the flights weren't too bad. Nothing bad happened on the plane, even though before we left the guys in charge had to bump 10 guys off the flight because it was too heavy. That made us all feel comfortable. The pilots were of sound judgment and the flight attendants were superb. The inflight movies weren't the best in the world, but they were ok.

I really don't know what else to say right now. I'm still recovering from the flight right now. I'm pooped. Maybe later, I'll post more about the adventure. Like the mechanic coming on board on finishing the last leg of the flight with us, the guys in charge having to count everyone on board 12 times, the Irish people, the Irish cigarette boxes, the Maine-greeters, having to peddle to get the plane in the air while leaving Ireland, almost crashing into the water while leaving Ireland, discovering the difference between English Mustard and French mustard, trying to figure out what to do with the hot towels, and all kinds of crazy stuff.

Talk about being out of your comfort zone. This is definately a new step in life. Too bad my wifely creature is on the other side of the Earth. It depresses me thinking about it. Thinking about being so far away from my family, being on the other side of the planet, just everything. I'm ok, I mean, I'm not going to go psycho. It just makes me sad.

Well, I'll post some pictures next.

God is good. All the time.
Peace

You've always wanted to go to maine! I'm glad you arrived safely, and those pictures are beautiful, and don't worry about your picture face, you wouldn't be the same Benny-Boy without it. I am praying for you daily, and your wifely creature, and your family.I love you, and thank you for all that you do!
