Another day...another $34.72

Things have seemed to calm down here about in Kabul. We haven't had a major attack in over a week but we haven't stepped back our security measures at all. I don't mind one bit.

Work is work. That's about how life goes once you become an adult. The gym still sucks, but my muscles are beginning to get used to having to do something strenous. And I'm starting to find more muscles I never knew about. That's ok though; the more the merrier right?

According to the scale at the gym, I have lost 10 lbs in the last month. My target was three pounds so I'm way above schedule. The key question is if I lost 6% body fat. Oh, if only. Then I wouldn't have to do company PT and I could sleep in during the PT days. Oh, if only.

Church is still the same, for the most part. The services aren't as exciting as when I first started going, but a different command means different ways of doing things. Luckily, I am able to introduce some new songs into the song book; songs that JD taught me many years ago and I am proud to be able to share them.

I hope things are still going well for you all at home. Have fun but more importantly stay safe.

God is good. All the time.
Peace

when you lose your 6%, keep going because i'll still be working out, that way we'll both be all strong and superhuman when you get back
