Blast from the past?

Once again there is unrest in the world. Okay, there was never peace, but our lives are once again revisited by a clash between the two largest religious factions in the world. If you haven't heard, the Pope pretty much told the world that Islam is a violent religion and the muslims, of course disagree.

Who didn't see this coming though? The Pope is a Nazi and all (he was part of the Hitler Youth Program) so it was only a matter of time before he was going to make an obscene comment. Calling the Islam religion a bunch of violent fanatics wasn't too far from the truth, since in retalliation the muslims burned several churches and quite possibly killed a nun. They burned dolls that resembled the Pope and marched throughout towns all over the Middle East trying to clear their religion from the violent face painted on it.

All the burning of things and protests don't really prove a point for the muslims, but instead enhance the point the Pope made. Was he correct in saying what he said? Political correctness has definately pointed this world in a direction noone wanted it to go. We are on the verge of complete censorship and it has all been caused by ourselves. Not the government, ourselves. Everyone is afraid they will say the wrong thing and offend someone else. People no longer stand up for themselves and say what they think is right. That's how America was created, right?

Enough of that nonsense banter. Things here are going ok. I finally got a full day off and had a chance to relax. It was very VERY nice to just sit and play video games, to be a kid again. Tomorrow is another day of PT; however, from what I have heard, it sounds like its going to be a giant smoke session. I'm still baffled as to how rolling around in the sand will help us lose weight, but who I am to say anything? I might offend those in charge of me.

It happens, I guess. I am losing weight though, thankfully. Not a huge amount, but enough to make me feel better. Maybe I won't be on the Fat-People PT for the next 9 months. If I'm lucky, I won't be on it next month. We'll see about that.

I guess that's all I have to write about. Not much going on. Nothing exciting at work; nothing exciting really going on. Looks like my trip to Bagram has been cancelled indefinately. Things just aren't falling in place to allow us to go. Oh well, I've been there already.

I hope things are going well back at home. I'll see what I can do about posting on here more often, even if nothing really goes on. Sorry about my lack of consistence. Be safe guys.

God is good. All the time.
Peace
