QUICK UPDATE ::I'm an EMT, and I work on an ambulance. I'm aspiring to be a paramedic someday, but I might go for the MD also. ::Anne is my silly goose and we have been married for four and a half years. Time flies when you fight wars. ::God is so amazing. He's done so much in my life lately. Just read to the right. ::I am a former driver's ed student and I'm probably that kid that your family talks about almost hitting them.

Stupid internet

So the internet has been down the last few days. I'm not sure if I can say why; let's just say I paid my bill.

Nothing much going on around Kabul. Its freezing cold here and set to get colder. Woohoo. My freecell skills appear to be as good as my solitaire skills but I'm getting in plenty of practice sitting around in the cold by myself. That sounds awfully depressing.

It's true.

Only 7 more months left, though. Soon this will all be over. This morning we had our monthly weigh in and I am still 1% too fat for the Army. Go figure. So starting on the 1st, I get to participate in lovely remedial PT. Good fun.

I'm really not sure what else to talk about right now, as I'm sure you can tell from my random, spastic typing. I apologize. I would go into the whole spiel about the chapel displaying a Christmas tree, but I will delve into that sea tomorrow maybe.

1% over and yet they insist we are the Army's finest to use when it comes time for ushers at some ceremony. Hmmm, makes me wonder.
