Just keep swimming

I am so mad right now. I don't even know what to say. I just want to go home. It's time to go home. This has been such a long year and its time for it to be over.

Apparently, if you're consistently a moron in the Army and everyone expects it, then you don't get in trouble for the stupid things you do. Everyone blames it on themselves eventually and you can do whatever you want. Even when your higher headquarters catches you being a blatant liar, you still get away with whatever you did just to turn around and try more stupid crap later on.

Heck, you even keep your rank and your job after a year of lying and being a moron. I never want to hear about the 10th Mountain Division ever again, or Kosovo, or Germany, or the 1st AD. Never again. If the active duty turns out morons like this on more than one occasion, then I don't ever want to be associated with it.

The Guard wonders why so many people get out of the Army early instead of staying around for awhile. It's because of stupid people in the Army that do whatever they want and don't get in trouble. You would think that the command would handle the issue and realize that they have a problem on their hands, but all they do instead is talk bad about the soldier and then let him (or her) continue on being a giant moron.

Is it so hard to just do your job? Is it so hard to just do everything the right way instead of finding every way possible to get around the system and still come up empty handed? The worst part is that it seems like all we do (the good logisticians) just bark and complain and noone listens. Talk about some crap. I just don't understand it.

Only a few more days. That's all I have to tell myself. Only a few more days. Good Lord give me the strength to bite my tongue and not go completely crazy.

Only a few more days.
